Nigel Oldfield Sports Promotions are the appointed agent of Matchroom Sport for the third consecutive year. The 2010 Premier League Snooker is now entering its 25th season as the world’s only major snooker tournament played to a league format.
Our continued involvement includes venue sourcing and relationship management with each of the 11 venues throughout the UK as well as dealing with contract negotiation, promotion, P.R. and advertising for each venue. NOSP will also play a prominent role in the event management at all 11 venues including liaison with Sky Sports who will be broadcasting every match live.
The field consists of seven of the very best players in the world, and each player plays the others once over the best of six frames, making a total of 21 matches.
5 players are chosen through winning prominent World Snooker titles, accompanied by 2 ‘wild cards’ as chosen by Matchroom Sport.
This year, the Premier League Snooker will run from September through to the concluding final in November held at Potters Leisure Resort in Norfolk; the event will be broadcast for over 48 hours with live coverage on Sky Sports in the UK.
The total prize fund is in excess of £200,000 and NOSP are very proud to be associated with this prestigious tournament.
